چکیده

One of the compelling reasons for natural language research and, in particular, computer speech research is that speech is a defining characteristic of humanity and something that virtually all people can do at a level that far surpasses the best artificial implementations. Humans, however, are not infallible; most only speak one language and aren’t able to handle the specialized vocabulary of myriad specialized fields. So while just about any random person off the street could easily and fluently read the latest Steven King novel out loud, he or she might stumble when presented with a jargon-laden biology paper or an article filled with the names of Nigerian politicians.

Data Driven Approaches to Phonetic Transcription with Integration of Automatic Speech Recognition and Grapheme-to-Phoneme for Spoken Buddhist Sutra
